CreatorVox — Beta

Effective from 18 May 2026

See also Beta Terms of Use.

Applies during the beta period. A more comprehensive privacy policy will replace this at public launch.

This policy explains what data CreatorVox collects, how we use it, and what choices you have. It is intentionally written to be readable. The legal-grade version arrives at public launch.

1. Who is collecting your data

CreatorVox is operated by Abhishek Bansal, an individual founder, based at TDI City, Sonipat, Haryana 131028, India. There is no company at this time. Until incorporation, the data fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, is Abhishek Bansal personally.

Grievance Officer: Abhishek Bansal · support@creatorvox.app

All privacy and data requests should go to this email. We respond within 14 days.

2. What we collect

From you, when you sign up: your phone number (to send the OTP and authenticate you); your name (goes on invoices); your Instagram handle, if you provide one (optional).

Later, when you generate invoices: your GSTIN, PAN, business address, and state; your bank account number, IFSC code, and UPI ID — to print on invoices. None of this is required until you generate your first invoice. You can use the app for tracking without entering any of this.

As you use the app: brand and deal information you enter; payment records; Form 16A documents you upload; status and progress on deliverables you mark as done.

Automatically, while you use the app: device type, OS version, app version; crash reports (technical info only, never your deal data); basic usage events; your IP address (logged briefly for security, not used to track location).

We do NOT collect: your photos, contacts, microphone, or files outside what you upload; your location; your private WhatsApp, Instagram, or email conversations; anything from third-party apps on your phone.

3. How we use your data

To run the app for you — show your deals, generate your invoices, calculate your TDS, send reminders.

To improve the app — fix bugs, prioritise features, understand which parts are confusing or broken.

To respond to your support requests.

To prevent abuse — detect spam accounts, fraud, and platform misuse.

To contact you about the beta — updates, new features, occasional surveys. You can opt out anytime.

4. What we do NOT do with your data

We do not sell your data to anyone, ever.

We do not share your individual deal or payment data with other CreatorVox users.

We do not train AI models on your data. (If we ever do, we’ll ask for separate, explicit consent first.)

We do not run advertising on CreatorVox, so we have no reason to share data with ad networks.

5. The shared brand directory

Brand identity data — names, GSTINs, addresses — is shared across all CreatorVox users. This is so that when you type a brand name, you get autocomplete and the legal entity name pre-filled.

Eventually (at public launch or later), aggregated, anonymised payment-timeliness data will also be shared — e.g. average days to pay based on many creators’ experience. Your individual deal will never be identifiable in this aggregate.

If you object to a specific brand entry being part of the shared directory, email us. We can scope the brand entry to your account only.

6. Where your data is stored

Your data is stored on third-party infrastructure providers we trust:

App database — Railway-hosted PostgreSQL, currently in the US East (Virginia) region.

File storage (Form 16A uploads, invoice PDFs) — Cloudflare R2, primarily Asia-Pacific (Singapore/Mumbai) region.

Email delivery — Resend (US-based). SMS OTP — MSG91 or Twilio (India and US infrastructure). Authentication — Firebase (Google, US-based). Crash reporting and analytics — Sentry and PostHog (US/EU).

Some of this involves transferring your data outside India. Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we are permitted to do this with notice, which this policy provides.

7. How long we keep your data

As long as your account is active, we keep your data. This is intentional — your deal history is the product.

If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your operational data within 14 days. Backup copies may persist for up to 30 days before being purged.

Some data we retain for longer when required by law — for example, financial records may be retained for up to 7 years as required by Indian tax and accounting law. We will restrict access to such retained data to legal-compliance use only.

8. Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to: access your data; correct your data; erase your data; withdraw consent for specific uses; and grievance redressal through our Grievance Officer (support@creatorvox.app), with escalation to the Data Protection Board of India if unsatisfied.

To exercise any of these rights, email support@creatorvox.app. We respond within 14 days.

9. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards: HTTPS/TLS in transit; encryption at rest at the provider level; sensitive financial fields stored only where needed for invoices; production access limited to operational support.

No system can guarantee absolute security. If there is a breach affecting your data, we will notify you and report to the Data Protection Board of India as required by law (currently within 72 hours).

10. Children

CreatorVox is for users 18 years and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we discover that a minor has signed up, we’ll delete the account and data immediately. If you believe a minor is using the app, email us.

11. Where CreatorVox operates

CreatorVox is built for creators based in India and intended for use in India only. The app handles Indian tax law (GST, TDS, Form 16A), is priced in INR, and our privacy approach is built around Indian data-protection law.

12. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes during the beta, we’ll notify you over email at least 7 days before they take effect. We’ll also keep older versions accessible at creatorvox.app/privacy/archive (planned for public launch).
